As a couple with years of combined experience working in American and Canadian travel and tech operating companies, they gained firsthand exposure to how global travel platforms are built, scaled, and structured. This experience also made it clear how easily such systems become centralized and disconnected from the local communities they depend on.

While traveling across different regions of Pakistan, they observed a consistent gap between the way travel is packaged and the real value that exists on the ground within local households and communities. That combination of international industry experience and local insight led to a clear realization: the strongest travel experiences are created when travelers are directly connected to the people who live in these places.

This became the foundation for Pakistan Locals, a structured marketplace designed to connect travelers directly with local hosts, guides, and communities, making travel more direct, more efficient, and more economically inclusive.
