Born in Chitral, I experienced the unparalleled beauty of Pakistan firsthand. My 5 years working in North American travel and tech made me realize the massive digital gap—and huge potential—for locals back home. I founded Pakistan Locals to bridge that gap and empower our communities.

Local driving notes

  • —Leave Lahore by 5 am or split the trip — an overnight in Islamabad or Balakot turns a punishing day into two easy ones.
  • —Best rhythm: motorway breakfast at Bhera, lunch in Balakot, Naran by tea.
  • —Book your Naran room before departure in July–August; arriving at 8 pm without one is the classic mistake.
  • —Going on to Hunza or Skardu? Babusar Top from Naran (July–September) is the shortcut north.
